Overview

Our client, a well know and prestigious organisation are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to complete a six month fixed term contract. This position requires someone who is confident at dealing with volume ER casework. You will ensure that the HR Department is able to manage ER matters efficiently and effectively as and when they occur and importantly, pro actively manage employee relationships so as to achieve a positive and productive workplace culture.

The role holder will manage casework relating to discipline, grievance and absence management.

Key responsibilities:

Actively promote a good culture of HR people management activities within the group by maintaining high visibility and relationship-building throughout the organisation
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on employment law and legislative changes
Work within organisational policies and procedures, contracts of employment and supporting documentation
Act as case manager across the full spectrum of ER activity and ensure all written representations are clear, concise and accurate
Identify solutions to challenging ER issues and present potential options and ways forward for consideration
As the ideal candidate you will have:

Proven capability with all ER case work
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work accurately and concisely
Very good IT skills particularly with MS Word and Excel
CIPD qualifications, or equivalent
Good stakeholder management capability and a desire to build strong working relationships at all levels of the business
Driving licence and access to a vehicle to support multi-site activity
