Financial Reporting Coordinator – Hybrid

Jigsaw Specialist Recruitment is excited to present an opportunity to become a key player within this team as a Financial Reporting Coordinator. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on coordination, regulatory reporting, and supporting a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver external regulatory reporting, including VAT, Financial Reports.
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting schedules.
Support quarterly report submissions and prepare Office of National Statistic returns.
Handle VAT returns, submissions, payments, and queries.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including VAT control accounts and reserve accounts.
Support finance reporting and budgeting systems, and undertake due diligence on acquisitions.
Coordinate monthly journal reviews and support the Fixed Asset Reporting team.
Qualifications & Experience:

Educated to GCSE and A-Level Standard (or equivalent), with passes in English and Maths.
Relevant degree or AAT level three (or above) is an advantage.
Part-qualified or studying towards ACA/CIMA/ACCA is desirable.
Three years of relevant experience in financial reporting, management accounting, and budgeting.
Strong IT skills, especially in Excel, with knowledge of specialist financial systems.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to present information clearly.
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
This role is based in Dorset. Our client are flexible with working and are virtual first but there will be a requirement to be in an office at least once a week. The closing date of this role is 2 July 2024.
