Our long standing client looking for a Project Office Support Specialist who is proactive and detail-oriented and with a knack for project coordination and administrative excellence. The role involves supporting project managers and ensuring seamless project transitions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to provide comprehensive administrative and project support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilise and create project tools to streamline project tracking, reporting, and documentation.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and capture detailed meeting minutes for effective communication and follow-up.
- Assist in maintaining project schedules, tracking project milestones, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Proactively identify potential project risks and bottlenecks, working with the project team to devise mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate the smooth transition of projects from implementation to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Proven experience in a project support or administrative role, preferably supporting project managers.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, with the ability to create and maintain project-related documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude and ability to anticipate project needs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
