Jigsaw Specialist Recruitment are working with a leading, independent lettings agency in an exciting phase of recruitment. You will be joining a team with over 30 years’ experience, specialising exclusively in Lettings and Property Management. The position offers a 5-day week (normal hours 9am to 5pm) + every third Saturday morning.
You will have your own portfolio of properties and you would be responsible for the day-to-day management of these lets. Your tasks would include making routine inspections to check that all is well at the property, reporting back to Landlords, arranging repairs and maintenance with contractors, carrying out final inventory checks, compiling end of tenancy reports, arranging meter readings and utility notifications, agreeing deposit deductions with Landlord and Tenant, dealing with any dispute resolution that may be required and updating the inventory for the next let. You would be required to communicate effectively with all parties to ensure that the terms of the Tenancy Agreement are respected and that both Landlord and Tenant receive excellent customer service.
As the ideal candidate you will be organised, professional and an excellent communicator. You will also be sufficiently confident to negotiate between parties to solve problems. Whilst much of the job requires you to work alone, it is essential that you liaise closely with other members of the team. Previous experience in the Lettings Industry a distinct advantage. Full UK driving license essential. Use of own car with mileage allowance and parking permit provided.
